4S Symposium 2018 - Macfab

NEWS RELEASE: May 8, 2018: Macfab Manufacturing, an international supplier of precision components and sub-assemblies, will be exhibiting at the 4S Symposium, May 28 – June 1, in Sorrento, Italy.

The 4S (Small Satellites, Systems and Services) Symposium is jointly organized with the ESA (European Space Agency) and CNES (French Space Agency). This year’s event is being held in cooperation with two other major small sat conferences: the Small Satellites Conference (AIAA/USU) and the Symposium on Small Satellites for Earth Observation (IAA/DLR).

This year’s theme, Beyond Boundaries, addresses the role of small satellites in expanding the boundaries of scientific knowledge, and the potential for small sats to be a key element of the next era of exploration.

Macfab’s display will feature several satellite components, including a machined magnesium nano-sat frame, aluminium honeycomb test panels, and reaction wheels.

“We are attending the 4S Symposium for the first time this year,” says Macfab president Chris Macmorine. “As Macfab expands in the small satellite sector, the 4S Symposium provides a great opportunity for us to meet new prospects and reconnect with our existing customers.”
