Macfab joins Canadian Space Commerce Association
NEWS RELEASE: January 19, 2017: Macfab Manufacturing, an international supplier of precision components and sub-assemblies, has today announced that the company has joined the Canadian Space Commerce Association (CSCA), Canada’s national trade association for space industry businesses and stakeholders.
“We are looking forward to working with CSCA and its member organizations going forward,” says Macfab president Chris Macmorine.
The announcement underscores Macfab’s commitment to expanding its presence in the space industry both in Canada and abroad, he says. “We already have customers in this industry, notably through our relationship with the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies (UTIAS). I’ve already seen from the original development work that we’ve done with them that it’s growing.” For an overview of activities by Macfab and the CSCA, read our feature article here.
Macfab has more than a decade of experience in developing prototypes and manufacturing a variety of components for UTIAS’s Space Flight Laboratory.
